How Does Killer Sense Help You Track?
Killer Sense puts Michael into a first-person stalking view and makes him more aware of nearby potential prey. Focus on a target to build Stalk levels. The official multiplayer overview says Stalk helps Michael identify and track targets, while opening additional execution options.
That is the confirmed purpose of tracking: gather information and develop a target before an attack. The official source does not give a universal Stalk order, a required amount of time, or a guaranteed score for every target.
What Are Special Targets?
At the start of a match, Michael receives a list of Special Targets. These residents are positioned around the map and give greater rewards if Michael kills them before time expires.
Special Targets are a priority system, not a published “kill these targets in this exact order” rule. The official material confirms their higher reward and time limit, but does not establish one fixed route for every map or match.
How Does Shape Jump Work?
Shape Jump lets Michael move through the environment unseen, increases his base movement speed, and gives access to traversal options such as Shape Dash. The official rules place a firm limit on the ability: Michael can enter and leave Shape Jump only while covered by darkness or outside a resident’s line of sight.
Light matters because it can limit where Shape Jump can be used. The official overview also says Michael can remove illumination by shutting off lights, cutting power, or causing temporary Blackouts. It does not publish a complete table of cooldowns, distances, or speed values, so this guide does not invent them.
What PC Controls Are Shown?
One creator’s captured PC video shows the middle mouse button entering the stalking view and holding the right mouse button zooming while stalking. This is a practical example from that video, not an official cross-platform keybinding table.
If you have changed your control profile, your binding can differ. Treat the video as a starting point for checking your PC controls, not proof that every player or platform uses the same inputs.
What Should You Not Treat as a Fixed Michael Tip?
This page does not label a weapon, ability set, or attack route as the permanent best choice. The developer’s September 17 update says balance changes are still planned for perks, stagger behavior, melee damage, combo speed, Grab and Struggle interactions, Special Targets, and scoring.
If Shape Jump appears stuck on cooldown or another feature does not work as described, use the Known Issues and Troubleshooting guide instead of treating it as a gameplay rule.
