Does Halloween: The Game have a PS5 disc?
Yes. The official physical-editions announcement confirms that Halloween: The Game has PS5 physical releases, and the game itself is on the disc. The physical versions launch on October 6, 2026, after the digital release on September 8, 2026.
Physical Edition Details
Halloween: The Game has PS5 physical editions, and the official announcement says the game is included on the disc. The Standard Edition and Limited Collector's Edition are scheduled for PS5 and Xbox Series X on October 6, 2026.
IllFonic's release announcement states that Nighthawk Interactive will release the physical editions in global markets outside Japan. The official announcement describes the Collector's Edition as limited, but does not publish a quantity.
The disc statement confirms that the game is on the disc. Official sources do not specify installation, first-day patches, extra downloads, online installation, or offline-play requirements, so this page does not make a claim about those details.
PS5 standard and collector editions
Two PS5 physical editions are confirmed: a Standard Edition and a Limited Collector Edition. The Standard Edition includes the game, advance access to the Michael Myers Clown Skin, advance access to two Civilian Cosmetics, and an exclusive Halloween poster. The Limited Collector Edition includes the game, advance access to the Clown and Samhain Michael Myers skins, four Civilian Cosmetics, the poster, a Shape Jump Variant Action Figure, exclusive lenticular art, and additional surprises listed by the official announcement.
What the disc release means
The official FAQ states that the physical versions feature the game on the disc. This answers the core PS5 disc question, while digital editions remain separate products with their own preorder or deluxe bonuses. The Phantom Michael Myers Skin is identified by the official site as a digital preorder exclusive, so a physical preorder should not be assumed to include it.
Price and physical release date
The official announcement lists a US price of $39.99 for the Physical Standard Edition and $149.99 for the Limited Collector Edition. Both physical editions are scheduled for October 6, 2026 on PS5 and Xbox Series X. These dates and US prices describe the announced products; local pricing, taxes, shipping, and retailer timing can differ.
Where to check a PS5 disc preorder
Physical preorders are available through select retailers, but the official site does not guarantee stock at a particular store. Before ordering, check that the listing is for the PS5 physical edition, confirm the selected Standard or Collector Edition, and review the retailer region, delivery estimate, price, and return terms. Stock and delivery information can change after the announcement.
What is confirmed and what can change
The PS5 disc, the two physical editions, the October 6, 2026 physical launch, the disc-based game, and the announced US prices are supported by the official physical-editions announcement and an independent AggroGamer report. Retailer inventory, delivery estimates, regional availability, and final product details remain changeable and should be rechecked before publication or purchase.
