Is there a public demo?
No public downloadable demo was listed by the Steam store interface at the September 8, 2026 collection time. The store returned an empty demo list, and the public Steam page did not show a download button for a demo. This is a dated store snapshot. It confirms what was listed at collection time, not that a demo could never be released later.
What players tried at PAX East
The official PAX East 2026 announcement confirms the first public hands-on event build. Attendees could play a 1v4 match on the Haddonfield Heights map, and media coverage describes hands-on play from both Michael and Civilian perspectives. An event booth build is different from a downloadable public demo. Access at PAX East does not create a Steam demo entitlement or a home download.
How to verify future availability
Check the official Steam store and the game’s news page for a demo button or announcement. A YouTube video showing the PAX build is evidence that the event version existed, not evidence that a public download is available. Not yet confirmed: a future demo date, a timed trial, or a console trial.
